What is play therapy?

A natural way for children to explore and express their world.

Children don't naturally process emotion the way adults do. Play is their first language. In play therapy, a trained therapist uses toys, art, sandplay, and creative activities to help children ages 3-12 express what they're experiencing, work through challenges, and build healthier emotional patterns.

It's not about what the child "says" in session. It's about what they show, create, and explore. And it works.
